Atithi means “guest”: someone welcomed with warmth, care and genuine hospitality. At our table every seat is prepared with intention, every conversation is valued, and every guest becomes part of the story.
A guest. Soon a friend.
The first shared meal is where strangers begin to feel like friends.
How an evening begins
We set the table long before you arrive.
A bare table receives a checked cloth, flowers, plates, then a generous feast.
Who comes
People who have never met.
There is nothing to perform. Come with an open heart and no expectations at all.

Everyone arrives alone and sits down together.

Bowls cross the table before anybody remembers to be shy.

Plates make way for a board game and very poor strategy.

Every table has a new story
No fixed cuisine. Only memorable evenings.
Atithi isn’t tied to one kitchen. Every gathering is built around a season, a celebration, a culture or a story. Some evenings honour Indian traditions; others travel further. All of them end up at one table.

Long, slow and mostly outdoors. Bread, oil, tomatoes, and far too much of it.
Deep winterWinter Comfort Table
One big pot, candles lit at four in the afternoon, and second helpings assumed.

Will you be our atithi?
This is not a checkout. Tell us who you are, and we will seat you next to someone you should meet.
If you cannot come
Tell me more than 72 hours before and I will refund you in full. Inside 72 hours the seat is usually gone to someone on the waiting list, and I will refund you if it is.
